Goblin Scout
A downloadable asset pack
Hi! I'm zneeke.
I'm an illustrator and pixel artist working on more packs that will be added in the upcoming months. My goal is to add and release one to two asset packs per month depending on my free time.
This pack consists of one goblin character who can be a scout / hero / or enemy depending on your needs.
There are 20 animations, both unarmed and armed variants.
Note: I plan to add more animations/variants to this pack over the course of next year or more.
Goblin:
Animations (canvas size 64 x 64):
Unarmed: idle, walk, run, hit, death
Armed: unsheathe, juggle, idle, walk, run, attack, hit, death, sheathe, death 2
Bow: idle, nock and fire, run, hit, death
notes:
- If you find any errors or glitches in animations, please feel free to leave a comment or contact me and let me know so that I can fix them.
- Also, if you have interest for these goblins in silhouette version (rather than colored), please let me know.
License:
- You can use the pack assets in your personal and commercial projects.
- You can edit the assets to fit your needs.
- Credit is not required but it would be appreciated.
- Reselling or redistributing of this asset pack or it's contents is not allowed.
Update (23/7/14):
- Made small changes to all death animations and made them a bit prettier
- There are now 3 goblin variants: unarmed, dagger and bow
You will receive aseprite file and character sprite sheet in png format.
Thank you!

Hi zneeke!
I hope this message finds you well! I just wanted to say that your art style is fantastic—it's full of character and personality, and it really stood out to me.
I’ve been developing a game project for over a year now, and during early development, I used one of your assets (specifically your goblin character) as a placeholder for the main player character. Over time, I’ve grown to love how well your style fits the world and tone of the game. As I move toward completing a polished demo, I wanted to reach out directly and propose the idea of working together more formally.
I would love the opportunity to collaborate—whether that means licensing, commissioning more assets, or partnering up in some way that benefits us both. Of course, if that’s not something you’re interested in, I completely understand and will respectfully move forward by reworking the visuals into something original before the demo is made public.
If you are open to the idea, I’d be thrilled to share more about the project, my vision, and how we might collaborate. I genuinely believe in the power of indie games and the potential for creatives like us to do something meaningful together.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and either way, keep up the amazing work—your art has a really special charm that’s hard to find.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I would love to hear more. How can we get in touch?
